Consideration in selecting the recipient for this award will be:

1) A student of Armenian ancestry. (Applicant must list parent(s) or grandparent(s) who are of Armenian ancestry, and their Armenian family name). 

2) Answers to application questions which reflect the amount of hard work and determination shown throughout the past four years and how the student continues to grow from one year to the next. 

3) Promise and intent of student to pursue a college education or trade school with acceptance letter or proof of enrollment. 

4) Evaluation of applicant's personal information sheet, include a copy of applicant's transcript and letter of recommendation submitted by a teacher, coach, or mentor. (Not a family member) 

5) Qualified applicants can apply to both scholarship programs Selma Trex offers, but can only win one award.

VAMSF

The Vipin Agrawal Memorial Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to students from low-income and immigrant backgrounds. In order to create diversity in the industry and spark new innovations, it is important to platform diverse undergraduate students. Seniors 2025 Information and Announcements

VAMSF annually awards scholarships to two high school seniors and/or current college students who have the following qualifications: 

• Attending a California state university, either CSU and UC school systems, AND went to a California high school
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science, science, technology, engineering, or medicine. 
• They or their parents immigrated to the United States Annual household income of less than $75,000 
• A GPA of 3.0 or higher 

California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation Scholarship Program 
Amount: $5000
Due: June 1

The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) is pleased to invite all qualified California residents to apply for a scholarship. This scholarship program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses. 
Eligibility: 

• Be a full time student (undergraduate or graduate) in good academic standing at an accredited college or university, OR 
• Be a graduating high school senior with written proof of acceptance at an accredited institution of higher learning. 
• Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 
• Submit a completed application along with all required supplementary documents by the application deadline.
